Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Finny: AI Financial Advisor mobile application (the "Service"), operated by Delta Technologies LLC ("Delta Technologies," "Finny," "we," "our," or "us").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Important: Finny is an AI tool, not a financial advisor. All advice and content are AI-generated and may be wrong. See Sections 2 and 3 for details.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

By using Finny, you represent that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
  • All information you provide is accurate and complete

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

2. Description of the Service

Finny is an AI-powered financial insights application that provides budgeting tools, financial summaries, and educational guidance.

Finny and Delta Technologies LLC are not—and do not claim to be—a financial advisor, registered investment advisor, broker, bank, financial institution, or licensed financial professional. Regardless of how the Service is described or presented elsewhere, you must not treat Finny as providing personalized financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

3. AI-Generated Content and Financial Disclaimer

All content delivered through Finny—including advice, suggestions, insights, summaries, recommendations, and responses—is generated by artificial intelligence. No human financial professionals review or endorse this content before it is shown to you.

Finny and the underlying AI can and do make mistakes. AI-generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for your situation. You should not assume any output from Finny is correct, complete, or appropriate for your needs.

All information provided through Finny:

  • Is for informational and educational purposes only
  • Does not constitute financial, investment, tax, or legal advice
  • Should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional advice

Finny does not guarantee and expressly disclaims the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated output.

You are solely responsible for verifying any information and for any financial decisions you make. Consult a qualified human financial, tax, or legal professional for advice tailored to you.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Certain features require a paid subscription.

By purchasing a subscription:

  • You agree to the pricing and billing terms shown at purchase
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the billing period
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation

Subscription management and cancellations are handled through your Apple App Store account.

Refunds are governed by Apple's policies and applicable law.

5. Financial Account Connections

Finny integrates with third-party providers such as Plaid and SnapTrade.

Authentication is handled directly by those providers. Finny does not receive or store banking login credentials.

By connecting an account, you authorize us to retrieve and process financial data necessary to provide the Service.

Your use of connected account services is subject to those providers' terms and privacy policies.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful purposes
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or disrupt the Service
  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
  • Use the Service in a way that harms Finny or other users

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, software, branding, and functionality of the Service are owned by Delta Technologies LLC or its licensors.

You are granted a limited license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial use.

You may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without permission.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time within the app.

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • We detect abuse or misuse
  • Required by law

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."

We make no guarantees regarding:

  • Accuracy, correctness, or reliability of AI-generated financial insights
  • Freedom from errors, bugs, or mistakes in Finny or its outputs
  • Continuous availability
  • Suitability for specific financial outcomes or decisions

Use of the Service is at your own risk. Finny may produce incorrect or misleading information; you use it at your sole discretion.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Delta Technologies LLC shall not be liable for:

  • Financial losses
  • Investment losses
  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits or data

Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to be responsible for any claims, damages, or expenses arising from: your misuse of the Service; your violation of these Terms; or financial decisions you make using the Service.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If we make material changes, we will notify users within the app or via email. Continued use of the Service after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
